Your questions answered

FAQs

What can the MIG120 Ready To Weld combo weld?
First welds and light repairs on mild steel up to 4mm: gates, trailers, racks, brackets and farm fixes. It is the package we point first time welders to because nothing else needs buying.
What thickness of steel will it handle?
Up to about 4mm mild steel in a single pass, plus stick welding and DC lift TIG with the optional torch.
What plug does it run on?
A standard 10 amp household plug, so it runs off any garage or shed socket. Keep extension leads short and heavy gauge.
Gas or gasless?
It arrives ready for gasless flux cored wire, with a spool in the box. It will run gas later with a regulator.
What is in the box?
The MIG120 welder, an auto darkening welding helmet, a spool of gasless MIG wire and welding gloves. Plug it in, load the wire, and you can weld the day it arrives. The combo price is below buying the parts separately.
Is it any good for a beginner?
Yes. Synergic setup means you pick the wire size and material thickness and the machine sets voltage and wire speed. Pull the trigger, hold the angle, keep the speed steady. Our welding for beginners guide walks through the first jobs.
What warranty does it have?
12 months through the New Zealand importer. Keep the receipt as proof of purchase.
Do you deliver NZ-wide?
Yes, to every address in New Zealand. Orders over $200 ship free to most urban addresses. Rural and island addresses may carry a surcharge that shows at checkout. South Island deliveries usually arrive in two working days from dispatch, North Island two to three.
