MIG Wires

MIG welding wire for steel, stainless and aluminium — every common diameter from 0.8mm through 1.2mm, in 15kg workshop spools down to small 0.5kg and 1kg rolls for occasional jobs. The Weldco range covers mild steel for general fabrication, stainless for corrosion-resistant work, and aluminium for lighter fabrication and repair.

Match the wire to the job and the machine. 0.8mm and 0.9mm suit thin sheet and most hobby-to-trade MIG welders; 1.0mm and 1.2mm carry more current for thicker steel and heavier fabrication. Gasless (flux-cored) wire lets you weld outdoors without a gas bottle, while solid wire with shielding gas gives a cleaner finish in the workshop.

Stainless and aluminium wire need the right liner, drive rollers and contact tip to feed smoothly — check your machine's setup before switching wire type.
