What is in the 248 piece Complete kit?
248 tools in eight foam trays: a 94 piece socket, driver and accessory tray, 46 piece ring and open end spanner tray, 38 piece gearless ratchet driver and bits, 19 piece ball end hex key tray, 17 piece screwdriver tray, 16 piece plier and adjustable wrench tray, 9 piece reversible gear spanner tray and an 8 piece punch and chisel tray.
Does every tool have its place?
Yes. Each tray is foam cut for its tools, so you see at a glance what is out and nothing rattles. Trays lift out and sit on the bench or the bonnet while you work.
Who is this kit for?
A home mechanic or tradesperson who wants every socket, spanner and driver size covered in one chest. Metric throughout, with gear spanners for tight engine bays. Add a hammer and a hacksaw and it is a complete workshop.
Can I buy a replacement tool if one goes missing?
Yes. Every tool in the kit is a standard Powerbuilt part number sold on its own, so a lost 13mm socket is a few dollars to replace, not a new tray.
What storage does it come in?
The Racing Series 9 drawer tool chest (RMS6153): 660mm wide, 305mm deep, 430mm high, with full extension ball bearing slides, drawer liners, internal central locking and side handles.
How does it compare to the other kits?
The 219 piece Apprentice kit has fewer spanners but adds a hammer, hacksaw and precision drivers. The 294 piece Mainlander puts this chest on a roller cabinet with more tools. The black version of this kit is the CCT004FBK.
How is it delivered?
It ships by freight on a pallet to any address in New Zealand. Orders over $200 are free to most urban addresses, and heavy, rural or island deliveries may carry a freight charge that shows at checkout. Delivery is kerbside, so have a second person or a trolley ready. South Island addresses usually see it in two working days from dispatch, North Island two to three.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a change-of-mind return, as long as it is unused and in the original packaging. On heavy freight items the return freight is at your cost, and the original freight is deducted from the refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault, that is covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act and we sort the freight. Full details are on our refund policy.
