What is in the 254 piece 41 inch kit?
254 tools in foam trays: a 125 piece complete metric socket set in quarter, three eighths and half inch drive with accessories, 46 piece ring and open end spanner tray, 46 piece precision screwdriver, bit driver and bit tray, 17 screwdrivers, 16 pliers and adjustable wrenches, and a 24 ounce ball pein hammer.
Does every tool have its place?
Yes. Each tray is foam cut for its tools, so you see at a glance what is out and nothing rattles. Trays lift out and sit on the bench or the bonnet while you work.
Who is this kit for?
A professional mechanic or a serious workshop. Fewer pieces than the 317 kit, but every drawer has room to add your own tools, which is what a full time user needs. This is the top of the range.
Can I buy a replacement tool if one goes missing?
Yes. Every tool in the kit is a standard Powerbuilt part number sold on its own, so a lost 13mm socket is a few dollars to replace, not a new tray.
What storage does it come in?
The 41 inch 8 drawer chest (RMS6157) on the 41 inch 11 drawer roller cabinet (RMS6158), 19 drawers at 1,065mm wide, the largest storage in any Powerbuilt kit. Drawers are 385 to 395mm deep so long spanners lie flat, and there is a full width 935mm drawer for bars and levels.
How does it compare to the other kits?
The CCT0022F is the same tools in the 41 inch chest only, and the CCT0023F the same tools in the 11 drawer cabinet only. Buy the one that matches the storage you already have.
How is it delivered?
It ships by freight on a pallet to any address in New Zealand. Orders over $200 are free to most urban addresses, and heavy, rural or island deliveries may carry a freight charge that shows at checkout. Delivery is kerbside, so have a second person or a trolley ready. South Island addresses usually see it in two working days from dispatch, North Island two to three.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a change-of-mind return, as long as it is unused and in the original packaging. On heavy freight items the return freight is at your cost, and the original freight is deducted from the refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault, that is covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act and we sort the freight. Full details are on our refund policy.
