The Powerbuilt Mainlander is a 294-piece tool chest and roller cabinet set that gives you a complete, organised workshop from the day it arrives. A 9-drawer tool chest sitting on top of a 7-drawer roller cabinet, with 294 precision tools loaded into labelled trays — sockets, spanners, screwdrivers, pliers, hex keys, punches, chisels, bits, and more.

The idea is simple: every tool has a place, every tray is labelled, and nothing disappears into the back of a drawer for six months. Ball-bearing slides on every drawer, rated to 34.9kg per drawer. Internal locking system across both units. Powder-coat finish on the full Racing Series cabinets.

What is in the 294 piece Mainlander set?
294 tools in foam trays across a 9 drawer chest and a 7 drawer roller cabinet: full metric socket sets in quarter, three eighths and half inch drive, ring and open end spanners, gear spanners, screwdrivers, precision drivers, pliers, hex keys, punches, chisels and drive accessories.
Does every tool have its place?
Yes. Each tray is foam cut for its tools, so you see at a glance what is out and nothing rattles. Trays lift out and sit on the bench or the bonnet while you work.
Who is this kit for?
A mechanic setting up, a farm workshop or a home garage that wants the tools and the storage sorted in one purchase. The cabinet puts the chest at bench height and rolls to the job.
Can I buy a replacement tool if one goes missing?
Yes. Every tool in the kit is a standard Powerbuilt part number sold on its own, so a lost 13mm socket is a few dollars to replace, not a new tray.
What storage does it come in?
The 9 drawer tool chest on the 7 drawer roller cabinet, 16 drawers in total at 680mm wide and 1,430mm high stacked, on braked castors with central locking on both units.
How does it compare to the other kits?
The 248 piece Complete kit is the chest only, without the cabinet. The 317 piece CCT0020F adds a second 3 drawer chest and more trays. The black version of this set is the CCT0018FBK.
How is it delivered?
It ships by freight on a pallet to any address in New Zealand. Orders over $200 are free to most urban addresses, and heavy, rural or island deliveries may carry a freight charge that shows at checkout. Delivery is kerbside, so have a second person or a trolley ready. South Island addresses usually see it in two working days from dispatch, North Island two to three.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a change-of-mind return, as long as it is unused and in the original packaging. On heavy freight items the return freight is at your cost, and the original freight is deducted from the refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault, that is covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act and we sort the freight. Full details are on our refund policy.
