What is in the 317 piece kit with two chests and a cabinet?
317 tools in ten foam trays: 110 piece bit and socket tray, 46 piece ring and open end spanners, 39 piece socket accessories, 38 piece gearless ratchet driver and bits, 22 piece hacksaw, hammer and circlip plier tray, 17 screwdrivers, 16 pliers and adjustable wrenches, 9 reversible gear spanners, 9 precision screwdrivers and an 8 piece punch and chisel tray.
Does every tool have its place?
Yes. Each tray is foam cut for its tools, so you see at a glance what is out and nothing rattles. Trays lift out and sit on the bench or the bonnet while you work.
Who is this kit for?
A workshop that wants a complete hand tool inventory on day one, with a spare chest for the ute or a second bench. It is the most pieces of any kit in the range.
Can I buy a replacement tool if one goes missing?
Yes. Every tool in the kit is a standard Powerbuilt part number sold on its own, so a lost 13mm socket is a few dollars to replace, not a new tray.
What storage does it come in?
Three storage units: the 9 drawer chest (RMS6153), the 3 drawer chest (RMS6159) and the 7 drawer roller cabinet (RMS6156), all Racing Series red with ball bearing slides and central locking. The 3 drawer chest can live on the bench or in the ute.
How does it compare to the other kits?
The 294 piece Mainlander has one chest and the cabinet. The 254 piece CCT0021F has fewer pieces but uses the larger 41 inch chest and 11 drawer cabinet with more drawer room per tool.
How is it delivered?
It ships by freight on a pallet to any address in New Zealand. Orders over $200 are free to most urban addresses, and heavy, rural or island deliveries may carry a freight charge that shows at checkout. Delivery is kerbside, so have a second person or a trolley ready. South Island addresses usually see it in two working days from dispatch, North Island two to three.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a change-of-mind return, as long as it is unused and in the original packaging. On heavy freight items the return freight is at your cost, and the original freight is deducted from the refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault, that is covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act and we sort the freight. Full details are on our refund policy.
