The Powerbuilt 294-piece Black Edition is the same complete tool chest and roller cabinet setup as the Mainlander — same 294 tools, same Racing Series cabinets, same ball-bearing slides and load ratings — finished in a black powder coat instead of the standard silver. If the look of your workshop matters as much as what's in it, this is the one.

A 9-drawer tool chest stacked on a 7-drawer roller cabinet, fully loaded with labelled tool trays across every category: 94pc socket set, 46pc spanner tray, 38pc ratchet driver set, 17pc screwdriver tray, 16pc plier and wrench tray, 19pc hex key tray, 9pc gear spanner tray, 9pc precision screwdrivers, 8pc punch and chisel set, 36pc security bit set.

Ball-bearing drawer slides rated to 34.9kg each. Internal locking system. Protective drawer liners. Heavy-duty castors with brakes. Black powder-coat finish that holds up in daily workshop use without showing every scratch and smudge the way lighter finishes do.

What is in the 294 piece set, Black Edition?
294 tools in foam trays across a black 9 drawer chest and black 7 drawer roller cabinet: full metric socket sets in quarter, three eighths and half inch drive, ring and open end spanners, gear spanners, screwdrivers, precision drivers, pliers, hex keys, punches, chisels and drive accessories.
Does every tool have its place?
Yes. Each tray is foam cut for its tools, so you see at a glance what is out and nothing rattles. Trays lift out and sit on the bench or the bonnet while you work.
Who is this kit for?
A mechanic setting up, a farm workshop or a home garage that wants tools and storage in one go, in black. Same tools as the red Mainlander CCT0018F.
Can I buy a replacement tool if one goes missing?
Yes. Every tool in the kit is a standard Powerbuilt part number sold on its own, so a lost 13mm socket is a few dollars to replace, not a new tray.
What storage does it come in?
The black 9 drawer tool chest on the black 7 drawer roller cabinet, 16 drawers in total at 680mm wide and 1,430mm high stacked, on braked castors with central locking on both units.
How does it compare to the other kits?
The 248 piece black Complete kit is the chest only. The 317 piece CCT0020F adds a second chest and more trays in red.
How is it delivered?
It ships by freight on a pallet to any address in New Zealand. Orders over $200 are free to most urban addresses, and heavy, rural or island deliveries may carry a freight charge that shows at checkout. Delivery is kerbside, so have a second person or a trolley ready. South Island addresses usually see it in two working days from dispatch, North Island two to three.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a change-of-mind return, as long as it is unused and in the original packaging. On heavy freight items the return freight is at your cost, and the original freight is deducted from the refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault, that is covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act and we sort the freight. Full details are on our refund policy.
