What can I run on the AC5014502X?
A full workshop load: impact wrenches, air ratchets, nailers, grinders in bursts, blow guns and tyre work, with two tools running at once off the twin outlets. Twin 1,450W motors and pumps give it the recovery of a much bigger unit while staying quiet enough for a shed next to the house.
How long does the tank take to fill?
About 69 seconds from empty with both pumps running.
Does it need oil changes?
No. It is an oil-less pump, so there is nothing to top up or change and the air stays clean for painting and nailing. Drain the tank after use to stop moisture building up inside.
What plug does it need?
A 15 amp plug, the larger flat earth pin type. If your garage only has 10 amp sockets, an electrician can fit a 15 amp outlet for a modest cost. Do not use a 10 amp adaptor.
How heavy is it and is it portable?
40kg on large wheels with wide feet and a handle, so one person wheels it around the workshop. Two people to lift it into a vehicle.
What fittings does it come with?
ARO style quick connect couplers, which are the common standard in New Zealand. Twin outlets mean two tools can be connected at once. Any air hose with an ARO plug clicks straight on. If your existing tools are Nitto, an adaptor sorts it.
What warranty does it have?
12 months through the New Zealand importer, with spare parts and service agents in the country. Keep the receipt as proof of purchase.
How is it delivered?
It ships by freight on a pallet to any address in New Zealand. Orders over $200 are free to most urban addresses, and heavy, rural or island deliveries may carry a freight charge that shows at checkout. Delivery is kerbside, so have a second person or a trolley ready. South Island addresses usually see it in two working days from dispatch, North Island two to three.
