Tyres, blow guns, nailers, staplers, an air ratchet and short bursts with an impact wrench. A 24 litre tank suits a home garage or a builder's van. For spray painting or a die grinder all day, move up to the 50 litre or a belt drive.
How long does the tank take to fill?
About 90 seconds to 8 bar from empty, then it tops up in short bursts between tools.
Does it need oil changes?
No. It is an oil-less pump, so there is nothing to top up or change and the air stays clean for painting and nailing. Drain the tank after use to stop moisture building up inside.
What plug does it need?
A standard 10 amp household plug.
How heavy is it and is it portable?
20kg with large wheels, a rubber foot and a fold down handle. Tip it back and wheel it like a suitcase.
What fittings does it come with?
ARO style quick connect couplers, which are the common standard in New Zealand. Twin outlets mean two tools can be connected at once. Any air hose with an ARO plug clicks straight on. If your existing tools are Nitto, an adaptor sorts it.
