A 500 amp spring-type earth clamp for heavy-duty MIG and stick welding. At 500 amps, this clamp handles sustained professional output on structural work, heavy plate welding, and long welding runs where a lighter 200 amp clamp would overheat and fail.
The spring jaw grips flat bar, angle iron, plate, and welding tables securely. The cable lug connection is rated to carry the full 500 amp load without resistance buildup at the joint. A solid ground connection is the difference between a stable, predictable arc and one that wanders and spits.
