Overview
A 165mm wire stripper for stripping insulation from electrical cables and wires cleanly without nicking the conductor. The adjustable jaw covers a range of wire gauges — set it for the cable you're working on and the blade cuts the insulation at the right depth every time. Faster and more consistent than a knife, and no risk of scoring through the conductor and creating a weak point.
The compound handles give good leverage on tougher insulation — automotive cables, old rubber-insulated wiring, and thick PVC all need more force than thin data cable. The wire cutting notch handles small gauge wire cutting as well as stripping, so you're not reaching for a second tool for every cut.
Used by auto electricians, sparkies doing wiring repairs, builders, electricians, and anyone doing regular electrical or wiring work. A basic but well-made hand tool for everyday electrical tasks. At this price, worth having a spare in the van.
