Powerbuilt DB5312 6pc Parallel Pin Punch Set

A 6-piece parallel pin punch set for driving roll pins, dowel pins, and clevis pins in and out of shafts, gears, yokes, and linkages. The key difference between a pin punch and a centre punch is the parallel shaft — a pin punch follows the pin all the way through instead of slipping off the side as the pin drops below the surface. You need that for clean pin removal work.

The set covers the common pin diameters you'll find in automotive components, agricultural equipment, and general mechanical assemblies. Chrome vanadium steel, hardened for repeated striking. The tips are ground to size for a controlled, accurate drive without peening the end of the pin.

Used for dismantling and assembling components that use roll pins and dowel pins — universal joints, selector forks, gear hubs, linkage clevises, and dozens of other mechanical assemblies.
